Let's see what Illinois schools are doing to educate and create awareness in their schools...
Collinsville CUSD 10 Technology Office has created and continues to maintain a website with the goal of "helping our kids stay safer online." On this site they are preparing for the new Internet safety Act by compiling safe websites, recording educational online games, and creating a curriculum for the 2009 - 2010 school year. Their work to educate and create awareness does not stop on the web. They have created an awareness t-shirt prompting people to stop and ask "do you know who you're talking to online?" Collinsville is a great example of a groups going the extra mile to keep kids safer online.
